The latest Merlin/D30® “Viper Stealth” back protector insert is an intelligent shock absorbing material containing intelligent molecules that flow freely when moving slowly, but on shock, lock together to absorb impact energy and does not go hard upon impact; the molecules lock together like a net that both absorbs and spreads impact energy and is very soft and flexible and provides an almost invisible shock absorption system that is a superior alternative to conventional rigid and hard-shell systems.
